if only i could unbutton my shirt as far as jim morrison did... but that just wouldn't be classy now would it? unif never fails to please, and i think these faux leather pants could be the best thing they've made yet. but you know me - i love anything they conveys a little badassery. so happy that wasteland carries unif (among many other fave brands of mine).

a few weeks ago, i celebrated my birthday by going to my fave restaurant, millennium. this outfit was the plan, but of course i knew i'd freeze at night in sf wearing it, so i switched out the skirt with a pair coated denim. i wore another variation to the diesel spring collection presentation dinner. i bought these shoes to go with my bridesmaid dress for my friend's wedding (which i'm returning from at this very moment) and ended up wearing them almost every day up until the wedding. they're pretty comfortable and hold up well - especially for $50. i like them so much, i think i'm going to buy a couple other colors as well... so worth it.

and again, with the neon obsession. i bought this necklace off threadflip and love it! it has a neon green strand that is covered by my collar in these pics. it's perfect for pairing with a casual tee.

i'm excited to say i've finally got some posts on the way! so let me explain these photos...

i had to put the blog on the backburner because i got a new job that i had to dive directly into - day and night, weekdays and weekends. my new job is at a really awesome startup called Threadflip - a place where you can discover, buy and sell great clothes, jewelry, accessories and shoes. i recommend you check it out! 

so back to the photos. these are just a few of the things i'm selling from my closet right now. a marc by marc jacobs satchel in mint condition for half the price, jeffrey campbell boots and faryl robin sandals. and get ready to see even more soon! oh, and also peep an alexander wang diego bag and a bunch of things liz from late afternoon is selling!

i couldn't resist a booty reference in my title. i usually keep this thing covered up, but sometimes days call for a neon spandex skirt. which, by the way, i'm buying into the whole neon trend. florals, peplum - not for me. but neon, i can do. i'm especially into small neon accents. in fact, i just snatched up some neon jeweled necklaces that i can't wait to shoot!

i love that it looks like i'm in some gorgeous hidden garden in the middle of nowhere, but these were actually shot in the middle of sf - in a quaint spot in alamo square. i've worn this exact look a few times, but hey, it's a good go-to that can handle sf weather and those days when you feel sort of... fluffy. a colored blazer and hat brighten it up during the day, and then switch with a colored leather jacket for night. easy peasy.

last week, i had the opportunity to host a shopping party at madewell in corte madera - a town north of san francisco. we sipped lavender champagne, enjoyed some sweets, and of course, shopped. i also styled three mannequins, which proved that if there is one color i'm into for spring, it's green. i also happened to be wearing mint green at the event... and thanks to madewell, i'm a proud new owner of white denim. it used to really turn me off, but i'm seeing a lot of potential to wear it in an edgy way this spring/summer.

it's funny how posting photos of yourself makes you nitpick at the littlest things. i'm less than a month away from 26, and i've already got (what i believe to be) demi moore knees. the difference between us is that she's got, what, 20 years on me? i'm sure nobody notices, but now i've called it out to the world! (at least i don't photoshop it like demi's people probably would.) sidenote: i can only wish and hope to look as young as her when i reach that age. no hate.

all criticisms aside, my obsession with black and leather has returned (as if it ever goes away). i have a feeling i'll be teetering between brights and black this spring.
