white light/white heat

(zara blazer & heels, splendid white tee, urban outfitters leather shorts, marc by marc jacobs clutch)

leather shorts are completely practical in my book. i think i own 3 or 4 pairs, which beats out my collection of denim cutoffs. continuing on my minimal obsession and sticking to black and white. it's just so crisp, clean, fresh. i topped it all off with some stripper shoes zara heels (every guy friend of mine can't separate the idea of lucite heels with strippers).

unfortunately since shooting this, i stucked my elbow on top of a black ink pen. any recommendations on how to get it out? i have the worst luck with white clothes. i spilled soup on a brand new white blouse, stuck my elbow in ink, and my dog ate my other ($$$) white tee - no, seriously he did.

balancing act

from the moment this dress arrived at my door, i couldn't help but put it on right away and twirl around (and do a little bit of dancing to the velvet underground's 'rock and roll'). fortunately san francisco has had some randomly warm, sunny days perfect for this dress. as everyone knows, i believe a leather jacket is the ultimate staple piece. thus i've been drawn to feminine dresses that a leather jacket can balance out - because as everyone also knows, i can't do too girly. add some ray bans and i'm ready to go!
