wow, a post! get this, i got sick AGAIN. strep this time. now i'm debating removing my tonsils. for real. i'm better again and enjoying friend and former photog (who shot this post) time with lydia while she visits sf for a couple weeks. tonight, i'm pretty stoked to be hosting an event with my buddy annabel at the UNIQLO on powell street from 8-9:30pm. if you're free, you should RSVP here and come by! (but come early because it's seriously going to be a madhouse.)

here's a look i made using pieces from DIP (designers innovation project) collection. there's even more rad stuff in store. by the way, happy thursday. here's a chill song i've been playing on repeat for a while to get me through to the weekend:

The Holydrug Couple - Counting Sailboats by The Holydrug Couple

let's get outta this place

weekend one has already happened. are you headed to weekend two of coachella? i was really hoping to make my first trek to indio this year, but instead i need my rest before my road trip. i just turned 27, and being responsible is sinking in a little more each day. well, i'm only on day 5...

but if you ARE one of the fortunate ones headed to sunshine and live music, you might want to check out my packing list over on stylecaster. (i don't give up on boots with heels, but there are some very practical things in there!)

and speaking of good music. my ex, who remains a very close friend, just released this video of his band Jesus' Sons. and while i often by default hated bands of guys i dated (i tend to date musicians. sue me.) this stuff is good. i can't deny it.

walking down the highway

music festival season has officially begun and south by southwest (sxsw) kicks it off! check out the article i wrote for stylecaster on how to pack appropriately. don't miss my top 10 items to bring. read more here.

i'll be taking a road trip to austin for another music festival later in april, and this song came to mind. you'll wanna add this to your playlist.
