(sweater-vintage, skirt-silence & noise, boots-jeffrey campbell)
it was only inevitable that the tucked maxi would make its way into one of my outfits sooner or later. i mean, how can you not try it when your friends have all done it so well? liz wears it here. aimee wears it here. and christina, she rocks the maxi like no other - and of course here is just one example.
i've been wanting to wear this crochet sweater as a mini dress for ages but never got the chance. and now that sf is officially (ok, unofficially) freezing, i need more coverage.

while i'm still working on collecting new items to go with the things that just don't seem to work with anything else, i've been making compromises with myself - no, encouraging myself - to make up for any lackluster characteristics of my outfit or accessories by doing my hair in different ways. i've mastered braids, so i'm currently going with doing them in new ways. hence the braided ballerina bun. let me tell you, if you have thick or dense hair, this one it tough! i should have recorded the process it took to get this thing to work!
first it was heels, then it was feminine pieces, and now it's hair. slowly but surely i'm conquering little challenges here and there.
