the second i saw the t.rex shirt on nasty gal, i knew it had to be mine. i listened to the album "a beard of stars" religiously in undergrad, and i think it's time to resurrect it from my old laptop. and i couldn't help but add these jc fairlanes to my order. they're just like the lita but hit below the ankle. (a general rule for us shorties - albeit, one i often break - is to avoid shoes that cut off at the ankle, like the litas do.) i'm absolutely in love with them and also want them in black.

This is such a edgy and chic outfit, but so very pretty at the same time! I love the Fairlanes the moment I saw them, and I agree with your theory, petite people should buy shoes below the ankle (I have to keep that in mind, too!)

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this entire look. The sunglasses, earrings, hair, skirt, and JC shoes are my faves. I'm short too (5'2) and you don't look short at all in these photos! Have to remember to not cover my ankles :-)
