last hurrah

here are a few shots i took at the tail end of our indian summer. of course, that weather is long gone now. i wore the hell out of this green shirt. i've retired it for a little while. (even though i wore it in another completely different way the other night...) sometimes i just get carried away with pieces i love!

this outfit is pretty similar to this one i posted a while back. i swear it was the go-to piece for hot weather!

fashionably in love

these images describe exactly how i always imagined my life would be with shannon. a musician with a girl who can be called 'one of the guys'. taking day trips on a vintage motorcycle. so far, we have it all except the motorcycle. our favorite part of all, we finally live near the ocean. (iowa was a little too far for us.)

yesterday was the beginning of a rainy weekend. i still managed to go out and have some fun with christina. we were even able to squeeze in a bang trim for her with shannon at revamp salon. we chatted all afternoon and snapped photos. she's ALWAYS fun!

rainy days make it hard to dress in color or want to dress in anything but comfortable pieces. for this reason, i pulled out my trusty vintage boston tee paired with my super comfortable jbrand leggings. to top it off, i've been wearing this juicy couture blazer over everything.
