katie and i shot together again today. for all of you who asked, she uses a nikon d200. i can't believe the color quality that camera captures!
california sunny days are well on their way, and just in time! i don't know about you, but i was about to go crazy if we had any more early sunsets and cloudy skies.
katie shoots with her own camera, so this was a great opportunity to get some shots of me with my camera! it's my baby! i recently invested in a new lens and flash, so things just keep getting better and better! i'm being completely honest when i say that photography and my blog keep me sane in my hectic work/school schedule.
this outfit is pretty simple, but i had to show off my new jeffrey campbell wedges! this is one of THREE pairs of shoes i bought on my recent shopping spree as my last hurrah before i start a life of budgeting and pinching pennies while i go jobless this summer.
notice my chictopia tote? i carry this thing with me everywhere these days. it holds all my class books and my camera, so it's perfect! plus i get to carry a piece of danny roberts (from igor & andre) artwork with me!

Also, I agree. Even with a hectic schedule I love taking time to do blog things and connect with readers. It is kind of cathartic.

woo hoo new camera! Dan always shoots with a prime lens, so I'm thinking of buying one for myself on the off days we aren't shooting together....I love the west coast...where else can you capture such beautiful photos?!?
