during my relaxing break, i watched an insane amount of movies. one of these movies was ghostbusters II. about a half hour in, i see one of the greatest outfits ever: a black jumper with an a-line skirt, black tights, black knee high boots with a leopard coat and neon green gloves. which character would wear such a getup? janine melnitz aka annie potts.

i had to get some screenshots to share a couple of her outfits. i apologize for the poor quality. it's the best i could do. i love the combination of green with leopard and her red hair and round eyeglasses.  and her attitude fits so well!

you may also remember her from the john hughes film pretty in pink. she plays another fantastic character, Iona. (would anybody else die to have her apartment in that movie!?)

i think i should keep her as a style inspiration for the new year. more prints! more colors! i can do it!
