strike a pose

on friday night, i was invited by wdesigns to attend the Venus Spring 2010 runway show in san francisco. the collection was created by Wayne Hwang. it was fun to meet up with some other bloggers who were also invited and watch the show together. the venue, roe lounge, was an interesting location for such a show, but they made it work without a hitch.
after the show, we went to vessel nightclub for the after party. it's a nice venue, and we got to sit in the vip area with the designer himself. mr hwang is an incredibly nice person, and it was a treat to talk to him.
i'm not sure how much i liked the deejay's abilities, and the bar keep was slow, but spending time with aimee, liz, and the guys always makes for a good time!
i wanted to wear this ribbon cardigan to the event. to me, it feels like bowie meets alice cooper. very glam, but dark. everyone thought it was a vintage leather jacket, but no! it was on sale at h&m! i saw this bizarre thing hanging on the sale rack, and when i picked it up, i knew i had to have it. i have to say, i'm so glad i found it!
